Gemblong


GEMBLONG

made from glutinous rice flour and grated coconut, gemblong is  one of the most famous Indonesian street food


Ingredient A :
400 gram glutinous rice flour
200 gram fresh grated coconut
1/2 tsp salt 
300 ml coconut milk 
Oil for deep frying 

Ingredient B :
300 gram sugar 
150 ml water 

Method :
- mix all ingredient A mix well until soft dough, 
- divide the dough into many portion evenly, form into  oval shape and flatten.
- heat oil for deep - frying add gemlong dough above fry until golden brown, drain well and keep aside. 
- preheat the water  at the wok from ingredient B, add sugar boiled until foaming and thick about 5 minut, add gemblong mix well until sugar turns white and set, ready to serve.
